CQ inSight

At CQ inSight we’re brimming with creativity, experience and qualifications, and we love to put our skills to good use, making a positive difference to the community through quality design and convenient, friendly service. Our office is on the beachfront of Yeppoon, a fast-growing town on the Capricorn Coast close to Rockhampton, Central Queensland. We love to meet with our clients face-to face whenever geography permits, either in our office or in your own workplace. Distance is no hurdle though – technology allows us to converse with clients around the world. We’re proud to serve our local communities, along with those further afield throughout Queensland, Australia and the world.

Julie Robertson

Julie Robertson

Creative Director

As a graphic designer since 1998, Julie has created logos, publications, websites and promotional material for businesses both locally and further afield, and many of her designs can be seen in use around the world. Julie has a Bachelor of Design Studies from the Queensland College of Art and is a certified workplace trainer. For the past 11 of her years in the industry, Julie has also been teaching graphic design and Adobe software skills to countless students, both in their workplaces and in classrooms at TAFE and university. Highly motivated and with a passion for both design and education, Julie brings professionalism, creativity, patience and energy to the business.

Mike Knowling

With many years’ experience as an author, editor, journalist and designer, Mike is a valuable member of the CQ inSight team. He’s a highly qualified wordsmith and brings clarity, precision and substance to the content of any publication. Mike has won a range of journalism and media awards and his writing, editing and research skills have reached the international stage. Mike is a Rhodes scholar, a Public Relations Institute of Australia associate member and has earned both a Master of Arts and a Master of Letters. He has extensive experience working with a range of audiences and as such helps ensure CQ inSight projects reach their audience effectively every time.

Kaylee Reid

Graphic Designer

Kaylee has a strong passion for all things creative with a love for graphic design and photography. She has just finished her three-year course studying a Bachelor of Multimedia Studies at CQUniversity and is awaiting graduation at the end of this year. Whilst working hard at university, Kaylee has been creating design projects for family, friends and also helping the community by creating the new logo and some of the branding for Yeppoon’s local radio station 4NAG 91.3fm. With both her down-to-earth and creative flair coupled with her fresh understanding of current styles and technology, Kaylee has become a valued member of the team.

CQ inSight is proud to support Wildlife Rockhampton – Rescue Rehabilitation Release. This vital organisation is made up of dedicated volunteers who rescue, care for and protect the native wildlife of Central Queensland. Our sponsorship includes their logo design, business cards, website and ongoing support in the promotion of their organisation.

We also provide ongoing support for several not-for-profit groups and individuals including Ipswich Hospital Museum and retired sportsman Willie Wallace.
